El Balito is a very unusual dive site, approximately 30 minutes by boat from the center away. The bizarre rock formations and caves make this a very nice dive. Playa Paraiso is one of our favorites! After a 20 minutes boat ride we anchor between two underwater canyons. We make a tour both canyons, you'll see just how well the impressive underwater life! Schools of bream and barracuda circling around us and there is always parrot fish, cuttlefish, trumpet fish, moray eels, glass eyes and much more to see. However the highlight is yet to come .. out of the blue comes a dark shape, getting bigger and bigger! This is the best place to get a close encounter with a giant 2 meters Atlantic Ray. This is a curious but friendly giant that go by. Here are occasionally seen many species of ray such as eagle rays, butterfly rays, sting rays, and in the winter we often see angel sharks. Remember, do not touch!
